Sudhir Jonathan Foust is President of Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, the largest yoga center in North America. Sudhir has studied and practiced numerous approaches to meditation from both the yogic and Buddhist traditions. He is also a senior teacher at Kripalu Center, a master flautist, a mind-body therapist, a teacher trainer, and leader of a variety seminars and retreats designed to help people cultivate a living relationship to spirit.

Swami Srinivasananda found his guru and yoga master in Swami Vishnu-devananda at the Sivananda headquarters in 1977. Since 1994, he has served as the Acharya, or senior teacher, for the New York, Chicago, and the Sivananda centers of the Eastern region of the US. He also acts as the American editor of Yoga Life magazine.

CD 3: Life Enhancing Guided Meditations

Deep awareness of your breathing patterns, visualization, and sensation of your chakras, and release of old emotional patterns all lead you inward where you will discover the peaceful center and true wholeness at the core of your being.

Yogiraj Alan Finger is a second generation yoga master who began his lifelong study under the tutelage of his father, Kavi Yogiraj Mani Finger. Yogiraj Finger founded Yoga Zone in 1990, and founded Be Yoga In 2001. Alan’s teachings are based on a form he developed called ISHTA Yoga (the Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra, and Ayurveda).

About Alan Finger

Yogiraj Alan Finger began studying yoga in South Africa at the age of 16 with his father, Kavi Yogiraj Mani Finger, as well as with renowned swamis of the last century. Alan’s father studied both at home and on regular travels to India, a study that would transform his own life and that of his son.

From this early age, Alan has dedicated his life to an in-depth study of yogic traditions, and the scientific exploration of the exact blend of postures, breathing, and meditation that accesses human potential to the fullest and benefits all levels of being. Alan became a Western yoga master, and developed a form of yoga called ISHTA Yoga (the Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra, and Ayurveda). ISHTA Yoga is a style of breath-based flow yoga that incorporates alignment, meditation, and healing bodywork, and addresses the individual needs of each student who practices it.
