Allie Duzett – Self-Hatred Session
A few months ago, I received a heartbreaking email from a friend who had realized that in her core soul… she hated herself.
It is hard to feel whole or fine or capable of doing anything good when in your heart of hearts, you see the worst in yourself.
When you hate yourself.
I sat with this email for months, before finally waking up and feeling ready to tackle this important issue. I already have sessions on self-loathing and self-punishment, but this is kind of something deeper. I think self-hatred often underlies self-loathing and self-punishment, and when we hate ourselves…. well, it hurts us.
And I mean that more than just emotionally.
As I was preparing this session, it came to me very suddenly that our BODIES can be heavily impacted by our own self-hatred. I was directed to look at the spinal column and overall nervous system as an originating point of self-hatred, and as a distributing point of self-hatred–as if these nervous organs actually create the chemicals of self-hatred that impact how we feel.
If you remember that all emotions are chemical, it stands to reason that the chemicals of emotion have to be created somehow, and during this session, we will be addressing the spinal column and nervous system in particular to see what role they might be playing in the creation of our feelings of self-hatred.
The pituitary gland, the pineal gland, and the adrenal glands will also be addressed. I wasn’t expecting these glands to require such personalized attention, but I am interested to see if clearing self-hatred out of the pineal gland will lead to increased intuitive capacity. I’m interested to see if addressing self-hatred caught in the adrenal glands will help us all clear out old cortisol and adrenaline issues that might be messing with all of our hormones.
Now, in this session we talk about SELF-DESTRUCTIVE TENDENCIES, and work on clearing them. It’s important to go into this knowing that first, it’s not safe to even try to clear allllllll self-destructive tendencies. I tried to do this to myself once. I told myself that energies are easy to clear! I’ll just clear ALL my self-destructive tendencies!

Trying this totally made my spiral into self-destruction and I learned some VERY VALUABLE LESSONS. So we are not going to try to clear every self-destructive tendency all at once here; instead, we’ll be working on gently shifting several layers so we can start making progress without triggering a meltdown. That is the goal. Easy, gentle shifts, without meltdowns and spiraling. I will be holding space for us all to start making the progress towards internal peace we are hoping for, without triggering any craziness.
It is possible to shift old self-destructive tendencies gently, peacefully, without making things worse instead of better. BUT in order to do this, we have to be okay with working gently and peacefully and not try to push things too hard, too fast, too soon.
So this is a great session for you if you know that self-hatred is a problem in your soul that you need to clear, and if you are willing to let these layers fall off you gently and easily, without force and without trying to change too much too quickly. My goal is EMOTIONAL SAFETY and helping us feel peace as quickly as possible–without overloading our systems in the meantime.
