MODULE 1: Establishing a Safe Space

It’s important that you feel safe during class. While we won’t relive or rehash any individual traumatic experiences during class, we will be talking about trauma. Just touching on the topic can begin to make the body feel uneasy. We will take a moment to begin class by setting expectations and giving you an SOS protocol right away, in case triggers arise.

• Introductions – We will just take a moment to share who we are and how we’ve come to this work to help establish a sense of safety in the class.
• The SOS Protocol for Trauma – It’s possible that just talking about trauma, even in a generalized sense, will bring things up for you. That’s why we wanted to begin class by sharing a series of exercises you can use in the moment to help overcome triggers and other activations.

MODULE 2: The Healing Energy of Your Body

Learn about your energy anatomy and why it is foundational to healing. You may even be surprised by the elegant and intelligent interplay of your energy systems – all striving to work in harmony to keep you functioning at your best.
