Inside the Facing Your Shadow Journey

Each week you’ll venture into another area of the Shadow, exploring archetypes, inner work, buried treasures, and our collective Shadows. You’ll emerge from your eight-week journey with new awareness about the workings of the universe and your role within it.

Week 1: The Rules of Creation and the Treasures Hidden in the Dark
In this introductory session, you’ll discover the importance of doing Shadow work at this unprecedented time in history, as well as the archetypes involved in this work.

Explore:

• Light and dark—choice and the nature of the universe
• Initiation—embark on the journey through prayers of protection
• The four treasures you’ll uncover through this work

Understand the ways in which you’re unconsciously drawn into the Shadow so you can learn to break free

Week 2: The Shadow in Our Personal Relationships, Five Shadow Confrontations, and the Supremacy of Love
Here you will continue to explore archetypal dynamics, how they play out in our relationships, and how they inform the collective Shadows of all people.

Learn:

• New collective Shadows that have come into being since the dawn of the nuclear age
• The five Shadows responsible for our current evolutionary crisis
• Sacred relationships—friendship, connection with animals, our work, and embracing our sexuality

Find out why parts of yourself have become hidden, forgotten, or disavowed

Week 3: Owning How Your Shadow Works and Taking Back “The Golden Shadow”
As you do Shadow work, you build trust and respect for yourself as your intuition sharpens. Here you will learn how to embrace the gifts we have been taught to fear.

• The roots of greed and power—encountering societal Shadow dynamics
• How idolizing others can rob us of our own empowerment
• Reclaiming your own authentic power, magnificence, and true divinity

Week 4: Know Thyself: Exploring Entitlement, Wrath, and Envy, plus the Sacred Body and Holy Outrage
It can be difficult to claim true self-knowledge in a cultural system that emphasizes the outward and the material. Here you will explore common Shadow archetypes and how to deal with them.

Learn:

• How to recognize and deal with a “Shadow attack”
• The Victim and the Martyr—see and transform the Shadow sides in yourself and others
• Embodiment—awakening through the feminine and sensual self

Develop a map of the universal forces at play in our survival and growth, and begin to navigate them wisely

Week 5: Learning to Speak Light by Moving from the Inner Self to the Soul and Working with the Mystical Traditions
Shadow work is a process of carefully uncovering the deepest truths of your soul. In this session, learn about practices and traditions that can support this transformation.

Explore:

• Separating inner Shadow talk from the truth of the soul
• What mystical traditions teach us about our essential selves
• A Sufi embodiment practice for listening to our dreams

Draw lessons from mythology and mystical traditions throughout the world to support your journey

Week 6: Every Choice Matters and a Party for the Brokenhearted
We live in an era badly in need of Shadow work. Here Caroline and Andrew put forth what it will take for us to wake up, embrace our interconnection, and sustain the entirety of our world.

• Blind spots—what we don’t see when we move from inner work to uncovering collective Shadows
• Happiness as a product of making wise choices from our heart and soul
