Someone may even have told us our perception doesn’t match reality.

Maybe we thought they were jerks at the time…

Or maybe it is something you suspected… but this just makes things worse because damn it,

… you must fight to survive!

Though… at times you may have had a niggling suspicion there might be some truth to all this…

… and you are probably right.

Sometimes, we feel fear is because we are standing on the side of the freeway with a flat tire and cars are whizzing by at high speed.

We are supposed to be a little shit disturbed in that instance.

Other times we are affected long after a threat has passed…

… or there is no threat at all.

And this always comes from our history.

Why would it derive from anything else? Feelings are based on experience.

We learn guilt somewhere between ages 4 and 6.

We can learn shame well under two years old.

Think of that: under-two-years-old…

That’s when you relied on caregivers for safety, shelter, sustenance and nurturing…

And when that well-intentioned care is withheld or misinterpreted by the innocent child…

He or she can develop shame.

It’s an insidious force operating in the background of an individual’s life

And it affects—it colours—their whole outlook, wishes, dreams, aspirations…

That is why I built this course.

To tame shame for good.

Despite ability and drive, it wasn’t until I defeated my personal shame that my life took off.

And then, in short order, with a little practice and self care, shame was no more.

It ceased to be the overriding principle guiding me…nowhere.

I am free to pursue the life I’d always wanted. Total liberation.
