Although always inclined towards spiritual pursuits Devatma began his devotions to spirituality after an intense spiritual awakening at 17 years old.

His Kundalini Shakti was then awakened through shaktipat by a siddha guru at age 24. This led him on many extended journeys through India and South East Asia studying with several great masters who trained him in the esoteric teachings of Yoga, Tantra, and Vedanta as well as Taoism and Buddhism.

He started teaching online by creating his own yoga school named Tripura Yoga, where he finds great spiritual and personal meaning by sharing the knowledge that was shared with him!
