About Jennifer Golden

Jennifer Golden is a movement educator and cancer thriver living in Chicago, USA. She began practicing Qigong in 1997 in conjunction with her training in acupressure, medicinal herbalism, and Chinese medicine. She continued to cultivate her personal Qigong practice while engaging in a career as a Pilates instructor and conference presenter. With a strong background in musculoskeletal and fascial anatomy along with eastern body-mind modalities, Jennifer views each individual through a holistic lens and brings a comprehensive and compassionate experience to her students.

Jennifer is certified in both White Tiger Qigong and Mantak Chia’s Universal Healing Tao. She is a CETI certified Cancer Exercise Specialist and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biocultural Anthropology, with a focus on human evolution and health. She believes,

By looking to the past and to the ways different cultures throughout history have viewed human health, we can understand the evolution of the human body and what it means to live at our potential.

Of all her revered teachers, Jennifer’s most profound lessons have come from living with stage IV metastatic breast cancer, The resilience and perspectives derived from being a “metavivor” infuses Jennifer’s work with a deep gratitude for the body and the meaning of vitality. As a mother of 4, Jennifer understands the ups and downs of modern life and is grateful to share the peace, balance, vibrant strength that qigong provides.
