How I was Exposed to the Dark Side

They call me a master of persuasion because I can teach persuasion skills more quickly, effectively, and simply than anyone alive. But there is one set of skills that I never wanted to share with others for a very important reason. I believed they were too powerful and – quite frankly – too dangerous for the general public.

Back in the late 70’s and early 80’s I studied with all three co-founders of NLP and became a NLP trainer under Richard Bandler.

It was during this time when one of the “founders” of NLP used a technique on me that absolutely devastated me.

Back then I had no clue what it was or what it was called, but it was so powerful, it took months to recover from it’s use on me. It took away my identity and even blurred my purpose for living. It was nasty to say the least.

Today, I call it The Scramble. Only later did I learn that this was my first exposure to “The Dark Side.”

Are People Still Using Dark Side Tactics…

In recent years, I have received emails from people detailing how a select group of NLP trainers have used these patterns on them – with explosive effects. I have been hearing more and more of these reports.

Since I released the Dark Side, new frightening reports about people combining the Dark Side with Hypnosis have begun to surface.

I reported about a student who had taken an NLP training in Europe. In the course of the training, the student had a disagreement with the trainer. To get even, the trainer used one of these destructive patterns on him. Weeks passed. His life was in shambles. He couldn’t work. He lost all of his friends. He learned the power of the Dark Side – against his will.

When “The Dark Side” patterns are used – it not only can change an opinion, it can destroy and totally obliterate a mind. I know most guys just refuse to believe that this type of power and ability exists. But that’s like defending yourself using the “Ostrich” strategy – hide your head in the sand and you’ll only get your butt kicked.

The reason they are furious is that this is a well kept secret of the “elite” in this field. The few that know these patterns aren’t about to let these secrets out. They would prefer to be the only ones to use these powerful secrets at will.

The only way I know these secrets is that I was personally taught this by the same “Guru” that did it to me a few years after I “snapped out of it”. I was taught the pattern and asked to use it on a person the “Guru” was upset with.

Spilling the Beans in Public

When I released Dark Side I, I decided to break ranks on this one and reveal these patterns so people can protect themselves appropriately.

The Dark Side can be seductive. If you are not well grounded in the techniques and strategies I teach I worry you will fall victim to their seductive power.

Warning! This material is not for the weak minded or squeamish.

You see, I’m worried. What worries me is if someone uses the Partner Destroying pattern to simply eliminate someone’s husband/wife or boyfriend/girlfriend so they can have the person for themselves. That’s not at all what I want to see people do with this material!

I also choose them in terms of their usefulness in other areas. Some of these or the strategies behind them can be used for good as well. But it’s in the understanding of how they can be used so viciously that you will understand how to use them for less destructive things.

In the end, I had just 17 patterns. Just 17…and that is exactly what was taught in Dark Side I and in Dark Side II I will be taken these patterns and more to a whole new level of understanding.
