About Ruth Lanius, MD, PhD

Ruth Lanius, MD, PhD is a researcher and professor of psychiatry at the University of Western Ontario and world-renowned expert on post-traumatic stress disorder.
Her research focuses on treatment outcomes for both pharmacological and psychotherapeutic approaches. The findings from her lab are some of the most often cited by the world’s leading trauma experts and have led to the development of effective strategies for managing dissociation and processing traumatic memory.

About Bethany Brand, PhD

Bethany Brand, PhD is a clinical psychologist and professor of psychology at Towson University. An internationally recognized expert in the treatment of trauma and trauma-related disorders, she has won numerous awards for work with PTSD and dissociative disorders.
Her research focuses on the assessment and treatment of trauma-related disorders, including the assessment of feigned dissociative disorders.
