About Dr. Patrick Cohn

Mental Training Expert Dr. Patrick Cohn has been an athlete his entire life and now a mental game coach. Dr. Cohn’s passion for sports and sports psychology started early in life and continued to grow as he participated in sports such as football, hockey, baseball, lacrosse, racquetball, tennis, and golf.

Dr. Cohn earned a masters degree in sports psychology at CSUF with Dr. Ken Ravizza. He then went on to study with Dr. Bob Rotella at The University of Virginia where he earned a Ph.D. in Education specializing in Applied Sports Psychology.

Today, he is the president and founder of Peak Performance Sports, LLC in Orlando, Florida, where he provides mental toughness training to individual and team athletes. He’s with high profile teams and athletes, such as the Miami Dolphins, NASCAR winners, NHL Players, NFL Players, National Motocross Champions, as well as PGA Tour professional golfers.

Dr. Cohn has helped every level athlete—from junior, amateur, to seasoned professional—excel in his or her sport for over 30 years. His mental training programs also help coaches, athletic trainers, and sports parents of aspiring athletes. Today, he primarily works with professional athletes and high level Division I athletes.
