What is it?

Dr. K’s Guide to Mental Health explores comprehensive approaches to Anxiety, Depression, Meditation, and ADHD. Inspired by Final Fantasy X’s Sphere Grid, Dr. K designed a choose-your-own-adventure learning experience so that you can take control of your mental wellness.

Journey Through Modules

Dr. K’s Guide to Mental Health takes you on a journey through Anxiety, Depression, Meditation, and ADHD. By the end of it, you’ll be armed with the knowledge you need to work towards a stronger state of mind.

Anxiety

This module digs into where anxiety comes from, why instinctive methods to control don’t work, and how to uncover the roots of anxiety and move towards conquering it.

• Anxiety 101
  What is anxiety? Where does it come from? How does it manifest? And most importantly, how do you cope with it?
• Thought Loops
  Learn why people with anxiety get caught in thoughts loops, and how you can avoid them and create more positive thinking.
• Ayurvedic Approaches
  Ayurvedic practices have developed ways to assist with anxiety through herbal and dietary methods.

Depression

This module encapsulates Dr. K’s approach, which has helped thousands of people move towards peace and purpose.

  What’s the difference between depression and general negative emotions? Explore some of the key differences.
• The Fantasy Trap

About Dr. K

Alok Kanojia, MD MPH, also known as Dr. K, is a Harvard-trained psychiatrist, lifelong gamer, recovered gaming addict, and cofounder of Healthy Gamer. Healthy Gamer leverages Dr. K’s expertise in psychiatry to help the internet generation live fulfilling and healthy lives.

His experience includes work at the top psychiatric facilities in the world, training and faculty position at Harvard Medical School, and over a decade of training in Eastern medicine.
